Raffinee: one sniff of this floriental fragrance and you'll be right back in the 80s, wearing shoulder-pads and moonwalking! If you think that's a good thing, then this is the scent for you. Raffinee is made up of notes of carnation, clary sage, jasmine, bergamot, citrus, orange blossom, and plum at the top of the perfume; has a floral heart of osmanthus, orchid, ylang ylang, tonka bean, tuberose, orris root, and orchid; and is completed with a base of cypress, sandalwood, vanilla, vetiver, musk, and incense. Houbigant first launched Raffinee in 1982, and today it is manufactured and distributed by classic scent revivalist company, Dana Perfumes.
First of all, thank you Fragrancemad for offering great value for money.
This fragrance is an oriental-spicy with a slight citrusy "lift" it reminds me of my mom's frags : a little of Opium (but with more light) and a long discontinued special called Bat-Sheba.
It is a classic lifted-spicy-oriental 70's scent I chose to use during the day.
A very unusual scent that takes you back in time (if you have been around for long enough...)
Love it and will buy again here.
