Calvin Klein Eternity was designed as a tribute to Klein's marriage, and was released into the fragrance market in 1988. In the trademark CK style, the scent opens with citrus and green notes, complimented by mandarin orange and sage to give the perfume a fruity yet fresh opening; the floral centre of the scent contains notes of lily, rose, violet, freesia, carnation, jasmine, marigold, and narcissus; and the base of the perfume is composed of a gentle balance of sandalwood, patchouli, amber, and musk.
