Aromatics Elixir is the original scent from the house of Clinique, and is a sharp floral fragrance. Aromatics Elixir begins with notes of clary sage, chamomile, Brazilian rosewood, bergamot, geranium, and coriander to open the perfume; follows with heart notes of carnation, tuberose, jasmine, orange blossom, orris root, rose, and ylang ylang; and finishes with a base comprised of sandalwood, patchouli, vetiver, oakmoss, incense, and musk. Aromatics Elixir joined the fragrance market in 1971.
