Award-winning British fashion designer Alexander McQueen started out making dresses for his sisters, and after earning an apprenticeship with Anderson & Sheppard and building his reputation throughout the industry, McQueen eventually became the Head Designer for Givenchy. McQueen went on to own a worldwide chain of boutique stores with his own range of fragrances, including the eponymous McQueen and the later fragrance, Kingdom. McQueen sadly died in 2010, aged just 40.
